1. You talk, we listen.

We want to know everything about your business and your goals for its development. Before we can help you achieve your goals we need to fully understand them.


2. We define your target market.

Once we fully understand your business we can identify your audience. Once we know this we can devise the best plan of attack to communicate your unique message. We look at your competitors, we research your industry and its trends and we apply our experience and insight to help your site achieve success.

3. We talk.

As a team we discuss everything we've learned about your business. We discuss your goals for the project and our methods for achieving them. A successful project comes from our ability to work as a team. Everyone at Something Interesting has their own unique skills and only by combining all of these talents do we give you what you want.

4. We sketch, write and talk some more.

We start with usability. We draw out site-maps. We determine the best ways for your customers to easily and happily navigate your site. We know that there's no point in even starting the pretty stuff until the foundations are built. Then we draw wireframes. Because we've worked at understanding your company and industry we have already identified the most important areas of your site. When we've finished the wireframe, all your content is laid out so your customers can find exactly what they want. This is the key to selling any product or service.


5. Now for the pretty stuff.

Once the foundations are laid it's time to hand over the reigns to our designers. They get together and start sketching and writing notes. Once our office wall is completely covered in sketches, doodles, post-it-notes, posters, fabric samples, and bits of interesting rubbish they found in the street we all have a look at what we've got. Sometimes its messy but its always creative and by the time we've finished this stage we're all agreed on the fundamentals of the design. The colour scheme, layout and concept thats going to bring your site to life. The bottom line is we don't build until you're 100% happy with the design.


6. Time to build.

Now the final design is passed on to our awesome team of developers. These guys can build anything. They replicate the design whilst fully complying with the latest web standards. By the time they're finished you'll have a beautiful site that works for everyone and complies to the highest standards.

7. The really clever stuff.

We build more than simple brochure ware sites, we also build kick ass applications. Bespoke applications designed specifically for your exacting needs. We've built a whole range of applications for previous clients, most notably a full car insurance quoting engine - which was no mean feat.

8. We test it.

We test all our sites to make sure we have achieved everything we set out to do. If we need to make changes we make them, our promise of delivery stands throughout our whole process. Once we're satisfied we've fulfilled your objectives you're good to 'go-live'.
